Mechalympics

 

            Mechalympics is known as “Mechanical Olympics”, is a Technical event for Innovative Challengers, which comprises various events namely Technical Quiz, Fit the Nut, Drafting & Drill to Hell.

 

General Rules:

 

• Individual participation not allowed

• Maximum Two Members per Team

• Participants have to complete the Olympics within One and Half Hour

• Participants can take their own time elapsing in Individual events, but they have to complete every single one of them to end the Olympics within given period of Time.

• Maximum team participation in the event is based on the Total number of Participants Entry

• Main Event is focused for 15 Teams, in case of any extensions in Team Number, Preliminary Round will be Conducted

 

Preliminary Round:

 

• One word Technical Questions (Without Options)

• Based on the Performance in Preliminary round, The Top 20 teams will be moved on to Main Event

 

Technical Quiz:

• One Word Core-Oriented Questions (With Options)

 

Drafting:

• Participants have to Draw the Diagram for the given questions

• Necessary Tools for Drafting will be Provided

 

Fit the Nut:

 

• A Cluster of Nut & Bolt at varying Diameters will be placed along with Tray for Different Diameters

• Participants have to find the exact diameter of nut that fits the Bolt. It should be placed Separately

• For Miss Fitting, Negative Marks will be provided

 

Drill to Hell:

 

• Participants have to perform various machining operations like Turning, Facing, Step Turning & Drilling

• Tools, Jobs & Job Sheets will be Provided
